The inspiration
No Nature's lover can visit the Irish countryside and be less than taken by the variety and beauty of wild flowers. Nothing is more enchanting than the vivid reds of fuchsia made brighter by the soft rain; and nothing is more surprising than the discovery of a meadow dotted by bluebells.
By using this imagery, Judy Greene has produced a full range of domestic earthenware and lighting, creating beautiful pieces of pottery.
And as Nature's lover, her personality is well reflected in the now famous motifs she uses. The images of sunshine and warmth conjured up by the floral patterns, coupled with the lushness and warmth of her palette, is adequate testimony, to all, that here is an artist who observes, who feels, who loves.
